The official discography on http://www.music70.com/
starts with Twoism, and does not list older work. This is perhaps so as to avoid
adding to the existing clamour for the old music, and it also shows which music they view as being releases for public consumption. That said, some details of a few older items, not released to the public, are now widely-known. Since these are already listed in many places, it would really be an empty gesture to omit them from this listing, so they are listed below. These older items are NOT AVAILABLE;
only friends and family of BoC have heard them.
In addition, three extracts of genuine old tracks came from a BoC-related website that no longer exists.
They are: "duffy" (extract) (0:24), "wouldn't you like to be free?" (extract) (0:56), "circle" (extract) (0:35), "duffy" is a gentle and innocent track a little bit similar to "melissa juice"; "wouldn't you like to be free?" features massed guitars; "circle" has slowly changing high-pitched glacial tones, fitting the Alaskan theme of the album it comes from.
There is also the full track labelled "godever" (1:46), (apparently a BoC track, but not really the old track called "godever").
Tracks from "Boc Maxima" also circulate.
In addition to the genuine music listed on this page, a large number of MP3 files are mistakenly attributed to BoC. Among these
the most common are "eno test" and "parson", wrongly taken to be by Marumari and BoC,whereas they are by Marumari alone. A few other such mis-labelled tracks go around from time to time. Other fakes: a longer version of "circle" which sounds nothing like the genuine short extract. "trillions" (3:31) is a fake, as is "treeline" (1:12).
Another set of fake MP3s that went around were called "nskino", "gridlock", "lavender trapezoids", "golden hinterland", "rhomboid", and maybe some more. We've been told that these are mislabelled tracks by CiM: 'nskino' is really 'disco alta', 'rhomboid' is really 'isempty',
and so on (thanks, MCBPete). With any luck, the fakes will eventually stop being labelled as BoC.

Adverts
Some BoC music was used in a Nissan advert that was directed
by Chris Cunningham; more info on that advert here
and you can watch and listen to it here.
The advert begins with "The Color of the Fire" (minus vocals), but includes
some other unreleased music.
The music at the end is part of a track from 'A Few Old Tunes' called '5.9.78' (side B, track 11). [Parker Hill]

ATP: "All Tomorrow's Parties". This event was held on 6,7,8 Apr 2001
at Camber Sands Holiday Centre, New Lydd Road, Camber Rye, East Sussex.
BoC performed on the 7th of April. These 320kbps MP3 files
are recordings at this live event. In contrast, note that the recording
of "In a beautiful place out in the country" that appears on the (official)
ATP 1.0 album is not a live recording, but a studio one.
This set of MP3s has the poorest (recording) quality.
- BoC appeared with Autechre, Panasonic and Cylob on 19 July 1996 ("Autechre Live At The Reach"),at The Reach (King's College Student Union) in Aldwych, London.
- They, and ThinkTank, supported Autechre in Edinburgh on (it is thought) 20 Feb 1997, at The Venue, Edinburgh.
- They were the headline act at one of Skam's "Versivo" nights at the Roadhouse in Manchester in February of 1997. No precise date known for that one.
- BoC also performed at the Phoenix Festival held from 17-20 July 1997 at Long Marston, Stratford-upon-Avon.
- They supported Seefeel in a live show in London, at Blech (a club run by Warp), on 31 Oct 1997.
- Sunflower Festival, Munich, with Autechre, Jega, Mike Paradinas, on 26 July 1997 [credit, Hetzel].
