It has occured to me that at the end of Aquarius the girl may be saying "The Sandison's". Sandison being Marcus and Mike's last name.
Track Lengths for Trans Canada Highway:

Dayvan Cowboy - 5:01
Left Side Drive - 5:20
Heard From Telegraph Lines - 1:09
Skyliner - 5:40
Under The Coke Sign - 1:31
Dayvan Cowboy (Odd Nosdam Remix) - 9:19

I've had it for a couple days now, and in case you don't have it yet you should probably buy like 20 of them
it would be worth your money

this is my favorite website on the entire internet, keep up the good work :)

It's on the page of music70.com that has contact details.
Help?
Just thought I should point out, the girl at the end of aquarius says "from sun to the sky", she's got an accent or something though which makes it sound weird. I can't remember where I found that out but I'm pretty sure its right.

Keep up the good work!!
I stumbled across an advert for Trans Canada Highway EP on the WARP website. Not sure when it was posted but I am assuming it was prior to the release date change of 29 May because of the /666/ in the web address and the clock on the video "kill 00:06:06:06". For those who have not viewed it yet, enjoy:

The tracks playing are: The Smallest Weird Number and A Is to B As B Is to C both from Geogaddi.
I've recently discovered some unreleased songs by BoC that I think are amazing. I was just curious to see if anyone else had heard these, or they know a story behind the song names--if there is one or that's really important. they're wonderful songs though: Forest Moon, Mukinabaht, and Buckie High.

Thanks a lot... .. .
The Campfire Headphase has the same initials than Trans Canada Highway.

TCH
Cheers everyone

Has BoC ever mentioned why the song XYZ wasn't included on the Peel Sessions CD? Sadly, all I have is a half-complete mp3 of it :(
I have a (probably minor and stupid) discovery to share. I think the track "Slow This Bird Down" has something to do with "An Eagle In Your Mind". First of all, they both refer to a bird in the title. Second of all, they are both slow track, and I found them a little similar musically.

To conclude, I think that "Slow This Bird Down" is a sequel of "An Eagle In Your Mind". :)
The Dayvan Cowboy video is excellent - some beautiful images. Joe Kittinger is cool.
Clean up the wiki, you sloth turd!
hello everyone. just dl some mislabeled boc tracks @ slsk. they album named acid memories, but 4 of 6 tunes are taken from the a beautiful place out in the country ep. does anyone know about this other 2 songs: http://s65.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2BKCDI1GBZ8VB3SFJ2BVLTRU30 ???
imo it possibly be boc, but if not i really want to know the creator of these.
good night
Well I don't think it's sampled but I do hear the resemblance, yes. But that's because both of them are choir sounds... I don't think there is anything more to it though.
Here it is!

http://media.putfile.com/lux-aeterna69

I am not totally sure if it was sampled from there but they both sound similar.
You discussed about Hi Scores, but you did not about my Happy Cycling discovery. It can seem ridiculous but those voices from Happy Cycling do sound like sampled from a song from 2001: A Space Odyssey. If you do not want to watch the movie again, this is from the part of the movie when the monkeys go crazy because the monolith, near the beginning. I should find that song and then send the link for prooves.
Yes I noticed the same thing when I was downloading it. I also recently downloaded A few old tunes... isn't the track 'the way you show' just freaky. It drives my head insane, in a very good. lol.

And Fredd-E could you please let me know whether Boards of Canada ever play live?
Olivier,

Thanks for clarifying this. I've corrected it.

I used the proper times from my original cd.
I noticed 2 things which I want to share. I'd like to correct Hi Scores' track lenghts. I have the album and the lenghts are false. Even on discogs.com, there are the same than my copy.

http://www.discogs.com/release/14139

1 Hi Scores (4:57)
2 Turquoise Hexagon Sun (5:09)
3 Nlogax (6:54)
4 June 9th (5:18)
5 Seeya Later (4:12)
6 Everything You Do Is A Balloon (7:04)

The other thing I've noticed is about Happy Cycling's voices, appearring on 0:38 in the track. I think those voices are sampled from 2001: A Space Odyssey. I'm not sure about it so I'd like some comments from other users, to agree or disagree about that notice.
Trans Canada Highway ^^
thx Dennis, I'm definitely gonna check it out.

Boomkat's review sounds promosing, as always :) And the samples are nice as well.
just want to point your eyes (and ears) on that beautiful new bibio album titled hand crafted. there is no doubt some relationship between boc and bibio. listen to the sample at mush and youŽll know. does anyone know anything about stephen wilkinson ? anyway : this record is a must buy !! k, see ya later and have a sunny sunday
