| in Telephasic Workshop, the muttering voices towards the end it sounds like it's saying " i was nervous ( something i can't make out).... very nervous" also on 2 occasions a low pitched voice says " Boards of Canada" |

Hi Fredd,
I just noticed that in the discography section of this site. I think that the playlist of live at ATP/ sussex, the 3rd track is called "a is to b as b is to c". I don't think that's correct. I just recognised the sound in the mid-section of "sixtyniner". You can hear this near the part where you can hear the spoken lines: "that tiny room at the beach was absolutely the perfect place for my first time", etc. The tune is sort of looped in the live version. I also doubt the fact that track 11 is called "a is b as b is to c", but maybe I'm mistaken. But I'm quite sure about track 3, part of "sixtyniner. Check it out.
Keep up the good work. Love this site.

Hey everyone - just noticed something - in the bonus track for Geogaddi -
From One Source All Things Depend - one of the children says towards the end of the track "God is somebody who 'rules the world', He's kind of like a Spirit". There goes the phrase "Rules the World" or "Rue the Whirl".... |

Yeah I decided to uploading on Silent Whisper. :) I would have done it from the start but I thought I had lost my password and stuff so I was lazily trying to avoid having to upload it. Haha. Turns out I remembered my password.
Thanks for the suggestions and the kindness. :)
As I said before I really like your site... one of the few Boards of Canada sites and one very great one at that. ;)
I was also just wondering if Boards of Canada toured and did like... gigs or something? I would love to see them live but have unsuccessfully found out anything about them doing so. You've probably written this somewhere in your site, I do apologise again. :$
Thankies. :) |

Thanks. The main reason I use the anti-hotlinking picture is to save bandwidth. You could try downloading the picture yourself and hosting it on your own website? Or you could try to upload the picture to imageschak.us and use that location as a host; if that works. |

Hey there, you have a beautiful site. :) When using one of your wallpapers to use as a background to My Space page, of course as you said the goatse pic appeared. (I didn't notice the text underneath the wallpapers when I took it.)
I can completely understand why you do that so as people don't use them to get credit for creating them. As I am just using it as a background (which isn't seem particularly much) do you think you could disable it doing that? If not I again understand. Sorry that I even dared asking. :$ |

| Derail, those spammers are automated bots... no real people :) But I've got a nice link in my email which I'm going to try to implement. Hopefully that will stop most of the spambots. |

I love how these retards put, "You rock" or "great site" and then slam you with a million ads no one here gives a flying fuck about. If you're not gonna make a comment about Boc, then stay the fuck off his site.
Hey Fredd, what's new? Twoism misses you, stop by man! |

| I don't know if someone has said this before, but Sequoia from Old Tunes 1 utilizes the same sample from the Beatles's Strawberry Fields Forever that appears in Kid For Today. I'd like to see more people interested in Old Tunes - there's very little info on it and it's full of interesting samples, unlike Geogaddi obviously not deliberately employed to get attention. Does anyone have any information on Nine Rubber Wisdom - one of my favourites? |

Hello, Fredd-E.
You and DavidAC have done a GREAT service here. While being a fan of BoC for years, I have just discovered this gem of a site (via a more curious fan than I) and have pissed away a whole work-day on it. Thanks very much for the information and keep up the good work. A donation is forthcoming.
As well, I have a possible correction/potential contribution to/for the lyrics page. Aquarius, I have always thought, features a sample from a scene in Katsuhiro Otomo's Rouzin Z. I will compare the movie to the recording soon -- I could be mistaken.
As mentioned in previous guestbook entries, it really is great that these recordings can spawn such discussions.
Cheers. |

Nice site, I hope it'll stay up-to-date. All information is very interesting. I like Boards of Canada very much.
Marcus & Mike are heroes! I hope the next album is going to be even nicer.
By the way, Frederik, keep up the good work!

| Just a small notice - the ending of their Surfaise remix features a small bit of Breaking Nehushtan from Old Tunes vol. 2 - maybe there are other bits that they have used in later songs as well. Cursed be all those spammers and keep up the good work, Fred. |

Hey fredd.
here is some little tit bit about "from one source all things depend"
its prob nothing but here ya go.
if you just play it backwards at around 30 sec in the kid says "feelings of love" or it could be "cearings of love" its only 2 or 3 sec long but interesting.
and also that track form ATP's does sound like TFTCE, at the start anyway. |
